2. Kasvatus, The Finnish Journal of Education
Kasvatus is a Finnish scientific journal issued by the Finnish Educational Research Association and published by the Finnish Institute for Educational Research at the University of Jyväskylä.
Kasvatus, the Finnish Journal of Education presents theoretical knowledge and research findings to researchers, lecturers, educators and students; highlights the interaction between research and educational practices; provides information on educational events; and acts as a promoter of connections between both educational scholars and teachers.
The journal is issued five times a year. Some of the issues focus on a specific theme selected from the field of education. Around thirty peer-reviewed articles and reviews are published each year in the journal. In addition, the journal contains briefer articles, comments, book reviews and reports from events related to education research. The Educational Research Association has appointed a four-member editorial committee to work with the editorial staff and the chief editor to further develop the journal. The chief editor is appointed by the editorial committee.
